Sniper nudged = bad

is there an etiquette among snipers? for example when one is taking aim and you are a sniper too, would you encroach their space? the amount of times i get nudged when taking aim, it throws me off and i get shot in the head (although it could be because im cack at it ) anyway, when i see someone in the spot i want, i would simply move to another or when im a different class i'd wait until they fired a shot until i hop over them. it's just... a gentlemen thing to do

Hah, reminds me of some old fishing stories my grandfather used to tell me.

When someone casts near your or right by your line, gently take your scissors and snip their line then smile. I dunno just kinda reminded me of that. It's like the worst etiquette ever to fish over someone.

I've never had a problem with this.  I don't fill positions already filled by my fellows and I'm sure they do the same.

I seem to get encroached on *a lot* on the servers.  I never go to another sniper's space but it seems it happens all the time to me on the TF2F servers recently.  I have had to stop sniping a few times because someone wants to be all in my space.  Most maps have a left side / right side / top / bottom -- go to a place that isn't occupied please.

Although I rarely play sniper (usually only to get my revenge on other snipers ) but when I rarely had any encroaching happen to me and definitely nobody actually nudging me, there has always been some distance, I try to avoid hanging out where other snipers are anyway because it's not beneficial to the team for one because you could be useful somewhere else and secondly the whole etiquette  thing comes to mind, it sucks having it happen to you so don't do it to others, or at least leave some space.

It is extremely piss taking when another sniper comes and stands in front of you to get his own kills, score whores piss me right off. If I'm sniping and including me there's 3 or more snipers I just change class. IMO 3 snipers is max (I'm talking 2fort here).

im not just talking about another sniper here, but another class running past...

one particular thing that annoys me most, a camping soldier rocket spraying in front of you - encroaching the snipers space.

Oh yeah I thought about that, gets irritating too, when the smoke from their rockets gets in your way, I have to tell them to get off the balcony and let ME do the sniping!

when some other sniper goes there or a soldier spamming rockets I just go somewhere else and use them as bait
