So I finally got TF2 running on my PC =D

few months back I bought TF2 on PC and xbox360 and could not get it to work on PC due to problem after problem after problem, the people here really helped alot but ultimately it would not work. My PC broke like a month ago and has been completely wiped which has made it super fast which = TF2! (I still play on the lowest resolution but idc)

Anyway I just started like an hour ago and anyone who owns the 360 version will know the PC version is ALOT more complex than the 360 version which is kinda like TF2 for dummies. The one thing I have wanted to do since I got the PC version working is play a huge ass game such as 16 a side on one of my favourite maps, 2fort or Dustbowl, so far I havent been able to do either.

There is only like 1 Dustbowl game and 1 2fort game which is ALWAYS full, literally, the one time it was empty I joined and it said warning connection error will disconnect in 25 seconds, has done that twice now, it runs very smooth and no other games have done it so I highly doubht its a connection error, I suspect I am being booted so other people like friends maybe can join.

Is there any possible way for me to play a 30+ game on either of those maps without trying to join the first two that appear when you refresh, I thought the PC game was alot more populated but maybe I was wrong? on 360 theres like 20 2fort 16 player games going at any one time when its at its busiest such as tonight, why is there only 1 game ever going on PC?

There are a lot more games going on PC as the TF2 PC community is way more active. It is strange because I usually see several 32 man servers up at any moment of the day or night.

Have you tried waiting or clearing your search filters?

Get in the servers with 29/32, it means there is 29 players on a server with 32 people so you will be able to join them. Try joining other servers too as there is additional maps and not only 2fort or dustbowl.

(but DON'T please, DON'T join cp_orange_x maps)
