So I just started playing DOTA....

Its pretty fun, right now im just playing with my friends over hamachi, since none of us have a legal copy of wc3...
Im loving Naga Siren, Nevermore, and Terrorblade. 
i know Buick plays DOTA, does anyone else?
also anyone have any good tips for a noob?

oh also right now i only play 1.21b.... since its the highest patch i can do on a illegal copy

i know.... i havent found a patch to go up to 1.23 without buying the game .... but i plan on buying wc3 since its so damn cheap anyway....

ok im an idiot... actually my friend is.... we didnt go to 1.23 because the ai maps didnt work.... too bad the fix for it is to just shorten the map name (-_-)
so ill have 1.23 soon!

play a real AOS like Tides of Blood, Advent of the Zenith, Age of Myths, Desert Of Exile

Dota is like the halo of WC3 custom maps -- It's horribly bland, uninovative and yet everyone likes it for some reason.

but at least you can good at DoTA

As soon as you pick up halo oyu are at the skill ceiling. Honestly. I pwn my friends at it - even though I ONLY play it at their hous(es). WTF. I DONT EVEN HAVE AN XBOX.

I prefer Killzone over Halo, asd it has one good map. The rest are far too spammy, and there needs some balancing changes stat.

All bullets weapons need a buff besides sniper rifle
Rockets need nerf
Assault class needs nerf
Sabotour needs buff just because there is so much spam
Scout needs nerf
the lost goes on.

Theres a good game under all of the rubble, im sure of it.

Clan BUS (The Buick Bus) won cal-O back in 2006-07 season.

We had one of the best solo middle laners in the world, Hobo.

I played support as VS, puggie, or THD.. this was back before the dagger nerf though.



DO NOT GET INTO COMPETITIVE DOTA, IT'S THE BIGGEST TIMESINK EVER.


Also DoTA takes tons of skill, just a different kind of skill. Team synergy/coordination has NEVER been more important. Our team had easily one of the most skilled solo middle laners on the East coast but the support was lacking in regards to his insane skill.. so we had to make up for it with synergy.

God I miss our lineup(s)

THD, Zues up top.. SF or whatever fucking hero Hobo wanted to play middle... and we had like 6 different combos for bottom. This was back with -LM. lol
