Soldier Weapon Load-Out

Sup ya'll. I was reading the other threads about weapon load-outs for a couple of classes.  The Soldier is one of the classes that is well-balanced and is the "warm" in the water of TF2. 

So I was thinking, what would they give the soldier?  I was thinking a missle launcher that shoots many, small splash damage rockets but has a large ammo clip..

i'd like to see a rocket launcher with a larger splash radius and less damage
or maybe one with much faster rockets and less damage or slower firing

or the knock back gun(something I made back when I was into modding halo pc) a rocket launcher that does significantly less damage, but has significantly higher knock back... the ultimate in rocket jumping and uber-breaking technology

I think the soldier is going to get the least amazing weapon addition.

I'm thinking its a rocket launcher with a longer reload time, it has 3 rockets and does less damage but when you click the right fire button, you blow up your rocket where it is even if it hasn't made contact with anything.

Shadow, that sounds feasible if you also lower the damage. Maybe you sacrifice damage and explosion radius for knockback and speed?

Would be interesting to see heavys flying, and would make for one hell of a uber rocket jump.

If they add any kind of 'new' rocket with a different velocity, I will change classes w/o ever looking back. It's taken me months just to get to the point that I can lead scouts that are all the way across the map and still hit them, I don't want to go through that learning process again. I like Fanlaen's idea.

What about the HL2 rocket thingy? You control its direction with your mouse--shoot around corners.

I was thinking either they would give the soldier some sort of weapon that allows them to demo sentries easier, or they'd just throw him a lame automatic rifle.

@Kibbitz: I was thinking the same thing, a guided rocket would be great, but I think they would have to slow down either the reloading or make it one missile per load.

I was also thinking of like a shotgun rocket. Like a rocket that shoots and splits into multiple shots after some distance. I don't know if anyone here's ever played supreme commander or company of heroes but it's like the aeon artillery in supcom and the british overwatch artillery in coh.
