For a remake of tfc's murderball, or a murderball esque game.

This is a rough idea of what the map would look like from the outside. (Note it's positioned on top of a mountain with gondoliers going to each base, these are the respawns.)

This is where the "ball" would be kept, also, as you can tell, this would easily be turned into a arena map as well.

The idea I've been toying with instead of it just being flat out murderball is to have it so that you can "activate" the intelligence so to speak, which while not only netting your team a point, would also kill the other team with the coil. This would obviously have to be on a timer of some sort (i.e. takes 10 seconds to activate, you can't move or fire while doing so.)

The intel is surrounded by glass that will rise up when the intel becomes available for capture.

The plan is to have a fairly large middle section. I was just super tired and couldn't think of anything, so I just doodled a building in. lol.

Also, the game mode could be called Weapon of Mass Destruction, or something to that effect. Which opens the possibility of a whole bunch of maps centered around some big doomsday weapon and both teams trying to take control of it.

The basic backstory I thought up when I came up with the map idea was that long ago some science institution (not naming names *cough* aperture *cough*) invented this weapon in their secret lab on top of the mountain, both Blu and Red found out about it and set forward basses (adding the ground where need be) up on the mountain as well.

I'm going to add giant fans behind Red as their power source, since Blu has the industrial smokestacks.

If I go with the activated point gain system, the intel will be reset and the glass will not raise for 30 seconds (giving the other team time to respawn, but still giving the team that scored the point a slight edge.)
First to 3 (or 5) points wins the round.

Also, the gondoliers have rockets on them.
