Be smart, pay your income taxes.
He could have then sued the IRS because they really have NO LEGAL RIGHT to do what they did. The income tax is directly against the constitution.
"The Congress shall have
power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source
derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without
regard to anycensus or enumeration."
The income tax is apportioned, so it is directly unconsitutional and illegal.
And for real. Why the fuck do they need 25% of all the working people's salary? That's fucking ridiculous, they waste our money on failing social systems like social security and the war on drugs and then just take more. And do you know why? Becuse people are too damned arrogant to realize that their money is being wasted by Democrats and Republicans alike and keep paying their damned taxes and just swing vote to the next party next election cycle. If they even took a fucking look at why we have to pay so many taxes, where the money's going, I think they'd be pretty god damn mad, too.
If the (Federal) government limited it's job to national security, protecting citizens rights and a few other SMALL issues, we could easily have our taxes be something like 2-5% of our income. You wanna know where that extra 20% of money would then go? Back into the REAL economy. Anybody notice that ever since income tax came into existance (permanently) and the gold standard dissapeared, the dollar lost about 95% of it's value? And why the hell do we have government deciding which companies to give what amount of bail-out to? Their basically building artificial capital that shouldn't exist. Then again, maybe we wouldn't need to bail out private industries and companies if that extra 20% of the public's income was actually there's and they could spend it on products that are good instead of letting the government bail out companies who just didn't make the cut.
Apparently a Free market is the market where the government can step in at any time, nationalize anything, give money to anything and decide what can and can't be sold (prohibition, the recent bill passed saying that the Gov't can regulate what types of ciggarettes come out)
I could go on forever but I'm just gonna....
