So which is the better map?

Dustbowl can actually be enjoyed every 26th blue moon.

The same cannot be said for 2fort.

You can DM in 2Fort.

You can't DM much in Dustbowl.

In both maps you're unlikely to get much coherent teamwork, becuase most higher level players shun them ()

2Fort is therefore better in random pubs, but Dustbowl is better with some teamwork going on.

2fort is just DM map wrapped in stale.  I can't even think of what could be done to fix it, except maybe make the whole map bigger and spread everything out a little more.  I don't think it would get much better, but it would be less DMable.
