Since snipers can't bunny hop and snipe effectively due to the charge up, you are limited in your dodging options, particularly when faced with an enemy sniper. I find that quickly ducking right as you believe your enemy is about to fire can be a life saver. If he shoots for your head he will miss, and if he shoots low he will get a crotch shot while you will get a headshot.

Right, but you've got a much better chance to survive a crotch shot than a headshot, as it isn't certain that his shot is charged. In any case he will probably shoot over your head if you time it right.

Charging shouldn't be a factor in getting head shots because a quick shot with no charge deals enough damage to kill a class with 125 health like the Sniper. I think.

some of the noob snipers try to aim for your head but end up going low, so it would have been a croch shot, but now it's a head shot.

it's just all basicly luck
