I really want spore but i want to know what this activation limit thing is that is supposed to prevent piracy, and how i keep it at the minimum. Is it like if you uninstall the game and reinstall it on another computer you lose one of your activations or what? you dont have to pay fees periodically to keep the game activated do you?

You buy it, you play it. but you only have three installations total. So keep it on ONE MACHINE. the three installations are primarily a new-hardware-buffer, i suppose...
btw... spore isnt that good... its nice, but not supreme...

3 installation that's totally bullshit. No wonder no one is buying. Haxor will eventually crack it.

How is the game? I keep seeing it advertised, but it just doesn't interest me. Anyone wanna give a quick overview?

Wow, i installed a copy of my friends Spore on my machine before we found out about this. That's ridiculous. At least you can crack it, but honestly you shouldn't have to crack a legal copy ever. Im sad that I accidentally supported this retarded DRM.

Whats the matter panny? Never seen someone changing his mind and getting down the hype train after playing?

It is ok, it is certainly not bad. but i feel like it is not the game i was waiting for. There is very little complexity, mainly in the space stage. The other stages are short, primitive and even a child could play them without any problem. The violence has been reduced, the looks became pretty comic-y (which isnt that much of an issue for me) ....and the balance of the space stage... i dunno

I guess my primary reason to play it is do see what creatures others might have done. and to find earth... and the center of the galaxy... and of course to create stuff

Oh crap! I just installed it on three different computers.

About the actual game, keep in mind Spore was made for the casual gamer, like the aforementioned child. It's not a game you can really play seriously, as none of the phases are as good as their equivelent game. If you do want to play the game somewhat seriously, make sure you play it on hard.

The main part of the game comes out of the editors, and maybe space phase. I haven't actually gotten there yet, I was too busy designing an empire of british salamanders with boats made of money and guns. Really, how fun you find the game directly correlates to you creativity.

Tip for creature editor: If you press control you can attach limbs to other limbs.

so... if i were to rebuild my rig with a fresh format and the works... would i use another of the installs, or is it based on hardware profile?
