Sticky bomb jump nerfed...?

Where was I? usually i can jump from one battlement to another on 2fort with ease and just a little under half health left. Now when i try it i die when i land on the other side. What gives?

That said, if you look at your game files there have been almost a dozen undocumented or documented-elsewhere updates in the last two weeks, and I'm pretty sure some of them have been engine/physics related. I wouldn't be surprised.

I've also seen pyros running down engineers/spies/etc with the *same speed* in a straight-line race in the last two days. Another undocumented change?

Ummm, depending on how you time your jump you take different amounts of damage, and go different distances, If you jump just as you right click you take most, while if you right click while in the air you take the least, and can also jump with two. I havent noticed any changes myself.

i did it several times and died each time. before i used to make it all the time...it doesnt have anything to do with all that

did'nt the pyro update make it more painfull to do stuff like that?

From what I've heard you were able to jump across during the beta...then Valve decided it was too powerful and changed it. But that was months ago.

Nope, sticky damage/distance was an unmentioned change.

Many many many a person have noticed this. :S

I haven't tried it myself, just what other people are noticing.

It's a real change. Monkee and I can vouch for it.
