Sudden Death Timer

Needs to be bumped up by at least another minute..it's currently at two minutes and often lacks enough time for SD to be conclusive, and instead just results in stalemates.

I've played in a few sudden deaths on the TF2F servers, and I agree that it should be increased by a minute- sudden death is one of the most tense and rarely occuring parts of the game, and I think an extra minute would help conclude more SD scenarios without dragging the game out for too long.

Actually I would have to disagree because the SD game never really start until the final 30 seconds or so.  I think this is probably due to the fact that there is no re-spawn and no one wants to rush in and die right away and have to sit with nothing to do for several minutes.  If anything the time should be shortened.

Shortening it more won't make people run out right away, there will still be turtles. By doing so you just give the offensive team less of a chance to get in and kill the defense, resulting in more stalemates.

I say we put it up to three minutes. (Which is what I believe we did when we used to have SD.)

    I agree with pushing this up to 3 minutes. I used to love SD, and now that its back, I'm finding out that I still do.
    We simply do not have enough time to have a good round with only 2 minutes, and I find a lot of these rounds stalemating.

Agree.  Please bump up the time since I actually like it when we can watch the ending boil down to a couple players and sometimes even a 2 v 1 duel.  I feel like as soon as sudden death starts, it's already like '1 minute left' and we just got into position to fight.  Sudden death is one of the funnest times to play in, and i don't want it to be soooo short  It's also a time where we actually have to act more as a TEAM because there are no health packs.  So we need our medics and engineers etc.. With 2 minutes though, an engineer will hardly have time to get into the action if he just gets his sentry and dispenser up with only 30 seconds left to play.

rather than 3 minutes why can't we just have an all melee sd? it makes everything smoother and I bet less people would be afraid
