What is a TF2F PUG?- Look Here

What is the Ventrilo Info?-  Server: 75.102.27.147    Port: 3870

When will this event take place? Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. 8PM Eastern Time.

How long does a PUG usually last? A pug's length depends on the amount of people that show up. Usually we end up with 4 teams of 6v6, 7v7, or 8v8. The PUG consists of each team playing a single game first, and then the winners from one match play the winners from the other match, and losers v losers. This usually ends up taking a total of about 90-120 minutes.

Now remember, we can't do one of these every night, so make sure you tell all your friends to show up so we can make these things count.

These look ideal to start out with more organised play. Still getting my feet wet with TF2, so I'd obviously be a detriment to any team I'm in. The one problem that I see is that I can't use a microphone (see my intro), when one of the PUG rules asks for one. I've begun putting together binds for the various classes to make life and communications easier (7 button mice and class specific configs are God-sends), but how will this affect my (hopefully in the near future) participation in these events? If it is, well, one must simply shrug their shoulder, smile and say 'so be it'.

X, normally I'd say that having a mic would automatically disqualify you from participating in the PUGs. However, since you have an actual physical impairment, I'll ask the event staff about that. Please add me to your steam friends (steam id: mad_typist) and I'll get with you.
