TF2F Lan Party - Head Count

Do you have a back room or someplace that could be used for sleeping?  I just tried figuring out how much it would cost me to go here and I didn't like the costs very much.

I'm coming from Chicago, and it's a 4 and half hour drive.  It would cost me about 100 bucks in gas (there and back), and then if I had to stay at a hotel, that would be about 100 bucks a night, and then food would probably be another $50 a day. 

If I didn't have to pay for a hotel, it would be a little easier, but costs may be the only thing holding me back.

I just came back from Arizona and shipped my computer through Fedex. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow (Friday) and I wouldn't be able to leave for Michigan until I get my computer.  Also in Chicago?  I'm not exactly -in- chicago, but I live in the suburbs on the skirts west of Chicago (about half an hour from the city). Anyways, I know that Fedex ships in the morning, but I'm not certain when my computer will arrive.

I'm officially out...birthday plans have gotten a little more involved than they initially were, plus I'm picking up my new car this weekend. This should be more than an annual soiree though...bi-annual? If it would have been any other weekend besides my b-day, I'd have been there in heartbeat. I really don't want to have to wait another full year.

I expect:

• Webcams to be set up and rolling
• Pictures to be taken
• At least 12 beers drunk in the name of X.Static
• Non {} [] members to be kicked from full servers so that non Windsor-bound squigs and squares can join in. I will have a conniption fit if I can't play with you guys remotely due to full servers.

Ah Boo Frozenshift.  Yeah, I am thinking about leaving at 10 in the A.M.   Heading West would be a bit out of the way for me.  Give me a holla when your PC arrives (312) 543-2446 and if I am still in the vicinity perhaps I can swing it.  Would love to be able to split gas with someone, and have some company for the trip most of all.

yea, if my computer comes in the morning, I'll see if you left or not, but if it does come soon enough, I'd still be able to get a ride to Chicago or where ever you need so that you don't have to go out of the way to get me. 

Let's play it by ear.  Call me when you get your PC and we'll take it from there.  I'll maybe feel lazy in the morning and not be as on the dot as I plan.   I am planning on leaving on Sunday afternoon just so you know.
