The TF2F Community proudly hosts Late Night Pick-Up Games every night @ 11:30pm est. We pick teams of 6 and play 2 maps, followed by a Highlander. It is recommended you show up at least 10 mins early to grab a spot. We do 'school-yard' style picks, so showing up does not always secure a spot. If we have an uneven number of players, there is a chance you might not get to play. To prevent this, its best to just keep showing up, or play in our public servers so people can get to know you and your skill level. You also must have a good connection, good FPS, and a mic/vent is required. 

  • At the moment ALL of the unlocks are allowed, all of the Soldier/Demo unlocks can be played, as well as the Sandman
     
      CLASS LIMITS  
  • 6v6 & 7v7 - 1 Medic, 1 Demoman, 2 of everything else
  • Highlander 9v9 - 1 of each class, often we'll do 10v10 Highlander where we will have 1 of each class, with 1 Uber Medic and 1 Kritzkrieg Medic 
  • Faillander - Same rules as Highlander, except the other team picks what class you play (usually one of your worst classes) these games are all having fun and less about winning
  •  
  • Custom Maps:
     It its HIGHLY recommended that you download and learn these maps! Everyone has been playing these maps for a bit so you want to be on the same level as everyone else. Its good to look for location of the CP's and where the health packs are. All the payload maps are only for Highlanders.

We're gonna do a Highlander tonight with the RMF Ability Pack Mod. It adds lots of new weapons and abilities that look really fun. Make sure to watch this video if you plan on playing so you have an idea of all the sweet stuff you can do

Yeah majin was tearing up ctf_sawmill, jumping all over the roofs and stuff. Chro had some pretty slick moves too, he dispenser explode-jumped over the fenced to cap the flag. Good times

I've seen you posting in the tf2maps thread for outback a lot, I was wondering if it were possible to do a tf2f map test of it in one of your highlanders?

Change Log from RC to RC2

RC to RC2 changes:

-Fixed some props clipping to the wall.
-Prop optimization throughout the map.
-Made the 2nd Red spawn deeper underground to give the blue team a chance to attack.
-Fixed some overlays problems.
-Fixed 99% of the clipping issues.
-Fixed a bunch of displacement issues.
-Clipped all the stairs in the map.
-Made some changes around the last part of the map.
-Closed off some corners around the last part of the map to give red more support to defend.
-Gave blue team more time after capping the 1st and 3rd point.
-Improved fps first part and last part of the map.
-Reduced the spawn time for red team to 8 secs after the 2nd cap.
-Fixed some ugly shadows around the map.
-Added Spec Cameras to the map.
-Optimized the map with hint and skip brushes in some areas.
-Added a dynamic sign  for the red team at the 2nd spawn making it less confusing where to go.
-Fixed a few doors not opening fast enough.

While we're on the subject, I'd like to ask that you all give my map a trial. I'm adamant that I want to pursue as much testing as possible in order to balance it for 6v6 competitive play, but so far very few peole have been helpful and I haven't had enough data to get any good balance feedback. I'd really appreciate you all giving it a look!
