And I believe Durban was the other guy Newman. Might have been a 4th aswell. That was some time ago.
If we could make a podcast about the TF2F community, that would be awesome. Sure we could throw basic news in there. Already have an idea for little segments, hehe, " Tips From The Top". Get tips from the best of the best at the different classes on our servers, and share them with everyone. Could be alot of fun.
That's good thinking, the key is to find your niche as it were. My question however... is there actually enough direct community news to have a full podcast? There's certainly enough for 3-4 episodes but what do you do after that.
I of course have an idea since I brought it up.
I would suggest that you focus more on the []'s than us {}'s. The reason being that once you start chatting about the recent {} action on the servers you start to move into CP territory (which I agree is fantastic, I'm currently listening to the Dustbowl podcast). If you focus on the []'s then the podcast is free to move into more of the competitive aspects of the general TF2 community. Which will promote our community to a larger audience since a podcast with a different focus gives us (and by us I mean you) an overlap audience and a slightly different audience than CP.
Typical format could be:
Everyone's week, a weekly profile of a TF2F [] and then into the various ladders that the squares compete in, recaps, other team intel reports etc...
