All of it sounds pretty good, but why is the medic getting a nerf?

To make the blut and the ubersaw more of a sidegrade. They were also looking a buffing the basic weapons rather than nerfing the unlocks

Yeah, this is a little old, as several of the changes mentioned here were implemented with the Classless Update. By invite, so I have no idea what goes on within or if it's still going on or what, but the thread looks like it's been updated fairly recently

Only a few changes seem welcome or useful. The new Gloves of Running Urgently would be a pretty cool addition, addressing the heavy's biggest drawback (speed,) while giving a nerf to his greatest asset (300 HP.) That and the new wrench seem like some level-headed thinking. These are nowhere near perfect yet, but it shows Valve is on the right track. That I like. But fire retardant spy suits? That sounds like the, "Whatever, see how it works" kind of thing.
