Tips on how to get into the Squigs

There are currently quite a few applicants, but there is something that all of you should realize.

People vouch for you based on how well they know you and if they like you as a result of that. So if you applied to the squigs, know that just posting on the forums will not get you very far in that respect.

1. Play on the servers frequently, and being in vent all the while helps a LOT.
You don't have to be on the servers 5 hours a day, but even just one hour while in vent and getting to know people goes a long way over time.

2. Playing in PUGs/SPUGs is a great way to get to know the squigs.
A lot of squigs play in PUGs and don't play often besides that, and there is constant communication in PUGs. While they are not mandatory by any means, they will definitely help in your quest to get to know people.

3. Just be yourself.
While listening to feedback from people and applying is recommended, don't be afraid to be yourself. Nothing turns people off quite like phonies, so don't be one just to impress people.


I hope these helped, and for all of you current applicants keep in mind that if we can't get to know you, don't get your hopes up on getting in. Remember that when someone becomes a Squig, it is almost as if they became one regardless of a vote or not.

I googled 'squig' and it came up with this definition:

'A hot teenage girl that you want to do but would be arrested if you did.'

I feel I may have missed something as I'm not exactly sure how your tips will help me in that regard.
