Toy Fort

If you have not played this map it is realy fun but it gets all stuffed up in the middle never seen it capped out.

I got 1 question how do engies get on the bed?

I just stated to play Toy Fort and it's a refreshing control point map. I really like the design as well. It's usually pretty full but rarely capped. That's probably because it'll get old pretty fast. I've been playing it a lot though, thinking someone might win but no one ever does. That's my only problem with the map. I played for 2 hours and no one could pull it off. It's extremely demo friendly and fun though.

I've been playing this one a lot too.  When the server gets up to 16 vs 16 there's really no way to win.  I have won a number of times with a 4v4 player mix.  Very finely balanced map that is difficult to dominate in.  I use it to hone my skills in various classes.

BTW I'd love to know how the engies are making it to the bed as well. 

Is it just me, or does Toy make my fps go down to like 10....

I usually get pretty good FPS  I haven't measured it but I haven't been upset about it either. I have been getting a lot of laggy performance in ToyFort lately.  Where the game will be going along nicely and then suddenly,,, it starts stuttering my character freezes and then I'm dead and a few seconds later I'm in the spawn room.  Maddening as all get out!

Well, there are 2 ways.  Setup teleport entrance first.  At one end of the bed, you have a box and the other end, steps.  At the box, you will need to build a dispense, then put a teleport exit on box while on top of dispenser.  Destroy dispenser, use teleport, and build it on top of box close to the edge to bed, destroy exit, jump from dispenser towards bed while trying to put a exit on bed.

At the steps, build a dispenser by the poles, try and jump from the pole while trying to drop a teleport exit.  Good luck, they are hard to do.

I like standing on the opposite doorpost in the middle as a demoman, but you will be taken down once somebody goes sniper to get you.

On top op the open door at your side is also nice when defending.

The fps problem should be gone with the newer versions of the map  although i never experianced one with 130 ping, as they are now more optimized (v2 and above) to get on the bed is also much simpler in versions v2 and above as there is a teleporter for in your spawn to a shelf above the bed and you can simply drop off
