Hi all,
I'm brainstorming a new take on CTF in a map I'm building that emphasizes territory control in order to make captures easier. Basically you'd have your standard identical bases with their own flag and capture point. This would be labled the "long cap".

Just outside each team's base would be a capture point. If a team takes both of these points they would unlock a new route out of their spawn, allowing them faster access to the center of the map. It would also fire up a capture point in the center of the map that only they can use, effectivly halving the distance they need to cover in order to capture the flag.

In order to make this happen I will need to figure out how to set up control points and how to link them to the following things:
Lockable Doors
Team Neutral Capture Point
Display Text (to tell players that the points have been taken)
Indicator lights (visual indicator to show which team controls the center intelligence capture point)

And of course I'll need to set it all up so it can all swing from red, to neutral, to blue and back again.

Is all this even possible? I'm starting to read up on it all, but anything that could save time would be appreciated.

Everything I'm about to say is off the top of my head, so may not be precisely right, but should be right enough to get the job done.

Lockable Doors:  Simply have an OnCapture command attached to the CP that will enable or disable the door trigger that you want to be locked/unlocked.  It would mostly be a simple trigger fire.

Team Neutral:  If I understand you it will work like most of the CP's in a 5CP map.  Just don't set it to be captureable by just one team.  Now as far as making it neutral again, I'm not sure if that's possible, but it may be.

Display Text:  Use the entity game_text.  You'll have to call it in the OnCapture of the CP just like you would have to with the locking doors.

Indicator Lights:  If you mean a light at that point then yes, you can simply put a colored light on the map and only enable it when the CP is controlled by the corresponding team.  I.E.  Have a blue light that gets enabled when the blue team controls it, but also disables the red light.  You can also do the same with some props like the Control Point signs by changing their skin value to the appropriate skin to display what you need.
