Okay there hasn't been a post on here forever so I wanted to make one. How do you usually make use of an uber as a heavy? I like to either corner around an SG and take it out or get up as close as possible and mow down everything instantly=) Oh and also, what do you like to do at the start when 2 people have ubers ready?

In the rare cases I go heavy and am ubered, my actions depend on the medic and the situation. If a medic does it randomly, I'll kill everything I can aim at and move away from danger before the uber ends. If there's a turret at close range, or if it's a little distance away and the medic is smart enough to run in front of me, I'll attack that as my priority. This leads me to a little annoyance I have with some medics- when ubered, don't expect me to take down a turret at long range. I can't get close enough unless you run in front of me!

At the start of a round, I think a heavy and demoman shoudl recieve ubers- the heavy to attract attention and get enemies to focus their fire on him, and a demoman to cause the real damage. Of course, this changes dependant on situation and classes available.

Definitely. I primarily uber heavies only for crowd control. You get a heavy uber right out of the gates and try to get a demo/pyro-medic pair as far as possible without them popping their own ubers.

Ubered heavies are great for attacking the final capture point, especially on bandlands. Stick an uber heavy on the point with the goal of killing every opponent who tries to defend it - then slip a scout in to actually do the capture. This is unstoppable unless you have an invuln. uber of your own to defend with, or a demoman with stickies on the point and very fast reactions!

As a casual pub server guy, I don't really expect people to be ubering me unless the medic say something about it on the mic. If the medic didn't say anything and ubers me, I'll just act as theres no ubering and kill as I see fit. However if the medic did say something, I'll try my best to cooperate with him/her and archieve a certain goal that he/she was aiming for.

My personal favorite is when a medic random ubers me at 75 or less ammo, after watching me use almost an entire clip, then get angry for "wasting teh uber"

If the medic ubers me randomly when there is no one around I'll try to find a few enemies to shoot at. If they uber me when nearly dead/surrounded/near a sentry I'll take action accordingly.
