Unnamed CTF map

I've got an idea for a ctf map, where there are more ways to enter each base than can be covered by engineers. I'm thinking of 3-4 entrances to the bases, with three entrances to the intel. These bases will be seperated by an uncovered bridge, so snipers become an essential. One entrance to the base will be underground. The one will be out front and the other will be on the side. The bridge will be over an area that kills you instantly if you fall of the bridge. The underground entrance will be beneath that. The bridge will be to long for a cloaked spy to cross. The battlements will be relativly small, to limit the number of snipers to make the bridge easier to traverse. I will start on this map and get pictures on this thread soon. What do you guys think?

Again, once I get the map started I'll post pics.  As for a drawing, I can get to it tomorrow, and maybe have it on the forums by night.  I actually have the map visualized in my head (sorry Dr. Chris), so its easy for me to see what I want.  Hoping to start it tomorrow.  Hoping to have it done within the next couple of weeks for testing and finalizing.

what you said is some of the basics for making a really good map.  Always have 3 ways into the intel, with multiple ways across mid.  usually 2 ways across mid that don't connect or they have a water plane between them, not 2 fort style more like very cloudy deep water so no one can see you.   As for the name of the map, just call it death vally or something along those lines.  You have a pit of death with a bridge, theres tons of names.

I was actually thinking of naming it ctf_death.  That's its current working name so that's why I named the thread unnamed ctf map.

*Edit* how do I get the pictures on to the forums without using photobucket or what ever.  I really don't wanna set up an account there (I'm just too lazy that's all).  Actually if some one here had a photobucket account I could borrow, then I could put it there.  Also my drawings are really crappy so be ready for that.

A nice name would be "ctf_deathvalley" like Chro said.

Long bridge = <3 (spies are my mortal enemies.

Unfortunately, so are snipers. T_T)

My friend had an idea of Heavy fight, where there is a small plank you carrying the enemies intel to their capture points, the only classes you can be is heavy or sniper, snipers snipe the heavies off the plank and heavies punch each other off trying to get to the intel cap area. Would be epic. Heavy Jousting.

I'm gonna draw a really basic sketch of what it should look like.  By basic I mean no interiors just the basic lay out for now.  Then I will get around to interior's and from there I will get pics from the map.
