" Valve Software is set to release new maps for Team Fortress 2, its team-based multiplayer sequel featuring in The Orange Box.

Shacknews reports that the developer plans to release the maps individually for PC and in a map pack for TF2 on Xbox 360. As yet there's been no mention of the maps releasing for the PS3 version.

Quite what the maps are and precisely when they'll be released is to be announced.

In related news a patch for Team Fortress 2 on Xbox 360 that addresses bugs and exploits, amongst other things, is imminent, possibly out just before Christmas."

I listen to many game podcasts all of them did heavy coverage on TF2 and the orange box, most of the main stream ones did interviews with valve. I remember that in a few the valve rep said that they were working in new maps and new game types. They also said that there will be intro movies for all the classes.
