WARNING: "Steam Validation" Login Phishing!

Apparently a few of members have received requests from someone with the name of "Steam Validation" requesting your username and password information. DO NOT give out that sort of information.....ever, Valve will never ask for your login information.

Oh... oops. Valve asked for my credit card number today too. I gave it to them. They also asked for my social security number and a copy of my birth certificate. I thought I could trust valve. But apparently not.

Obviously anyone working for a company like valve or an ISP isnt going to PM  you or email you for your info.

I got this messaged to me on Steam.
I replied to it. Not with info but with FAKE!!! then it logged off.

I was about to see about posting this on the Steam Forums but someone beat me to it. The thread is new, too, and VALVe is disabling suspicious accounts. Do a search on the community and you get oodles of accounts named "Validation".

This has happened twice. What I really want to do is someone give them theirs.

I gave them my firend's account first to test the waters. No word back yet.
