Website - Final testing

I've finished the design on my mom's website for her home business, and I was hoping to get some people to look at it and report any problems they have with it before we go "public" and share the address.

If you have any problems, feedback, thoughts, etc., I'd love to hear them.  Also, if you have any tips for getting more visitors to the site, I'd love to hear those, too (I plan on adding some kind of traffic analysis like Google Analytics).  Thanks

Some of the pictures sqeeze the text to sometimes unreadable levels. For example on the "about me" page my monitor displays the text as:

grey-
hound.

Doesn't do that for me, what's your resolution?

1024x768 iirc.
I'm on a laptop btw.

Ok, I'll make a note to see what I can do about making the images scale automagically on smaller resolutions.

I like the simple lay out, but you will run into people with small monitors having trouble.  The top bar needs to be simplified, or shortened.  There is no need to have so many I'm sure you could reduce the number of buttons at the top to 5 if you had to.  Right now there are 10, and even on a relatively high resolution, there are 3 buttons that overlap to the second row.  I could just  be nitpicky though.

As others have already pointed out that isnt the only problem with the layout.

You generally want to design websites with smaller resolutions in mind.

I think it scales pretty well to a smaller resolution. I don't mind the buttons on the second row but that's just my opinion. At least they line up ok.

I like it!  Very simple, but not to a point where it looks bad.

What CMS are you using?

Guys, if you're reporting problems, make sure you post your browser (version is important)/resolution as well!
