I've been playing TF2 a lot more recently. However I still wasn't able to find a class that suits my style. After all the hrs of TF2 I finally found out that I like a class that is good in melee range combat that helps the team by killing enemies instead of supporting like the engy or medic, has a good chance in winning a battle that consist of 1-3 enemies in adverage not to mention having a running speed that is good enough to circle strife while firing, so I tried the following classes:
Spy - sure its close range, not to mention 1 hit kill if you do a back stab. But the thing is its tough for these guys to win when theres more than 1 enemies around. Not to mention the cloaking/disguise tool is just not for me.
Engineer - well the sentry gun can be a mid range weapon too, but if you only count the engy itself its a pretty close range class. However without his buildings, I just can't win against a 2 on 1 battle.
Scout - It meets almost everything that I wanted except its weapon just couldn't kill in a fast speed. Not to mention facing a solider or a sentry in melee range means instant death most of the time ><
Now finally - Pyro...Pyro is probably again like the scout, the one that is closest to all the attributes I want. Decent running speed, all his weapons are for melee range, not to mention it can deal damage to more than 1 enemy at around the same time. However, seeing the countless topics saying about how pyros are no good compared to other classes...it just make me think again...like I said I want to get kills and do the kiliing by myself...is Pyro not the class I should be using then? Are classes like the soldier and heavy my only choices in meeting all these things?

3 pyros can lose to 1 soldier <_<

There is no ultimate class in TF2. I don't mean to sound harsh, but if you want to be a lone wolf then TF2 isn't for you. Its a team game were teamwork is more important then individual skill. If you are going alone, expect to be killed and killed often.
As for the best choice, a spy would probably be your best option. They are best in groups but can work alone, taking out key positions. As for not being able to kill more then 1 person, I don't have any troubles with that. Don't just try and only get backstab kills. I can lead the scoreboards and kill half a team (a mediocre team) by taking out key people with backstabs and then using the revolver to finish off the rest. The revolver is an awesome weapon. Learn to use it more.
Failing the spy, I would use a scout. Pyros need a team behind them to be truely effective so a scout would be ur best choice. Good scouts can kill everyone except engineers but then again, no class beats everything (except soldiers maybe).

In the right situation, when I play as a pyro, i'll burn their whole team before they realize what just happened. Good Times.

There is only one class that truely excells in killing any other class, and that is Soldier, and as the saying goes: "easy to learn, difficult to master" and no Soldier is complete without his team (or at least a Medic).
If you want to go lone wolf and work independently of your team, Scout is ideal: he can kill, and is IMO best equipped to survive an encounter with any class except the Engi's sentry. They can evade most attacks, and should always be the first person to a medkit (as long as there isn't a Medic nearby who needs it).
Scouts can set up ambushes by taking the longer, safer paths around the maps, circumventing the front (obviously does not apply to Dustbowl on attack).
Pyros, on the other hand, can kill faster if their ambush is successful, but that's a big IF. They need corners, cover, platforms, and other close quarters blind spots to gain an edge. However, if the ambush tactic fails, the Pyro is toast, while the Scout can frequently "book it" to a medkit or his allies.

engies can be long range too! Just yesterday, I was standing by the tower on Orange_X, shooting at a sniper on 4th point! Killed that bastard with my pistol=) ...used 120 shots to get it tho

I hear you, Analyzer(cool name btw). Back in the day, all I would use is a solider because of his versatility....but I just wanted something that was a little more intense,up close and personal to deal with certain opposing players. I used to get frustrated with the spy...but with patience and a few weeks of dedication to the class, the spy has given me everything I've been wanting......and so much to the point where I can hardly even play other classes. So, I say give the spy multiple chances...and learn the ways and rhythms of the spy....because they are badass, loners, and can single handedly change the face of the game, as well as instantly cap points. It's the most difficult class, sure...but the most rewarding one. nothing feels better than backstabbing an engie, and zaping his sg before it turns around and kills you. Well, to be honest, killing off a medic who's about to undercharge feels better. No, wait, I'll tell you what feels better, killing off the the player the medic is about to charge and seeing the medic run away. Actually, what's better than that, backstabbing 3 snipers instantly in a row. You with me?
