Whats the stupidest Mistake you ever made

Probably been asked before, if so sorry.
But if not, you know them moments when you slap yourself, and begin to cry. Well, kinda.

I had one of those moments today, when on Well, I grabbed enemy intel and set off back towards ours.
Half my team was crowding around me, but i was nearly dead.

Soldier: Drop the intel, your gonna die.
 Cue me not concentrating (like usual) and pressing g

Friendlies over mic: What the hell, He's taunting us, Pratt, Idiot,

Luckily, I managed to get rid of the darned thing, and even played for another 20 mins, until someone mentioned it and I left in embarrasment,

I am really clumsy though.

Man i fucked up. I joined a 2fort public server, and it was horrible. Everyone there seemed utterly noobish, playing the game like some deathmatch mode and not understanding that one engi can hold the intel if other players keep his sentry alive with strong offense and defence. Not that that is new...

God there's a lot of uber-fails... the worst one is when I was about to uber a Heavy and clear the first point on DB stage 2, I let rip the uber and just a minisecond earlier my lump of russian meat got boom headshot. So instead I ended up ubering a engineer who tried to take down a nearby Scout with his pistol and missed entirely, that scout then baseball batted the 2 of us.

Mine was a tactical mistake but it was pretty damned funny too. Most of the other team were scouts so my team (luckily we all had mics) decided to go spy and disguise as heavy on our team. So when we came out the front gate (it was cp_dustbowl) they thought they had an army of heavies after them until a (stupid?) scout game running at us with his bat and killed one of our spies. After that.... let's just say I don't like baseball anymore.

The dumbest thing I've managed to do in this game was on the map Badlands Classic. It's a huge map, as some of you guys probably know. At any rate, each base has a small bunker connected to the base's side overlooking a canyon.

So, in a rare moment I decide to play as an engineer. I set up a teleporter entrance by the intel and then start on my merry way to the enemy's bunker to set up a base. While going through the trench in the canyon, I got into a firefight. After the other guy was dead, I kept moving to the enemy base.

So, I get to the bunker, build a teleporter exit and tell the team that we now have a backdoor into the enemy base. I spend about half and hour down in the bunker, building both a sentry and a dispenser. After a while, the lack of any enemies was  getting annoying, so I go up a ladder leading from the bunker into the main base with the intention of shotgunning someone in the face. When I went up into the main base I realized something:

I was in my own base. Whoops...

After the firefight in the trench I went the wrong way. *sighs* At least this happened on my server, so no one really gave me crap about it.

It was the very first time I got ubered. I was on hydro near a contested enemy control point, but then a medic ubered me. So I ran headfirst at the first enemy I saw, which happened to be sniper on the other side of the map.

My biggest mistake was just playing. You know, in general. I really do suck that much.

Using a wireless mouse instead of a wired one...

You have NO idea how frustrating it is to be on a roll, only to have the game minimized because the mouse wants to let you know that you should change the batteries soon.

Yea, I'm getting me a new mouse.

My stupidest moment happened in the first few days after I started playing TF2.

I was on 2fort as Scout and along came a friendly Soldier carrying the enemy intel. He got blown away right next to me, and I ran near his dead body and picked up the intel.

The problem was I was so new to the game I didn't know I now had the intel strapped to my back and I continued to run around for like 3 minutes with it trying to kill people and trying to get into the enemy fort to try and grab the intel, not knowing I already had it. And the whole time I'm wondering why the enemy suddenly had it out for me and why like *everyone* on the enemy team seemed to be shooting at me.

In all the confusion, a couple of enemy Scouts were able to sneak through to our intel and get it back to their base and we lost the round.

Epic fail.
