Here is the Provided Recipe. Good for a laugh.

Aperture Science's cake recipe:

1 (15.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 can prepared coconut-pecan frosting
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup cocoa
1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/3 cups water
1 to 2 (1 6-ounces each) cans vanilla frosting
Don't forget garnishes such as
fish-shaped crackers
fish-shaped candles
fish-shaped solid waste
fish-shaped dirt
fish-shaped ethyl benzene
fish-shaped volatile organic compounds
sediment-shaped sediment

I suppose you got that from the third module of GLaDOS... reading that... i ... think i am much more happier about thinking that the cake is a lie...

Some of that I didn't find in the cakemix speech... I think the cake is also listed on a monitor somewhere.

cake has tons of fat and sugar.  Its got low GI carbs and causes insulin spikes.  Avoid at all costs

Eat cake.  It tastes good and life is short.  Enjoy yourself.

I'll pass, thanks.  I actually have to agree with Skippy on this one - cake is the kiss of death for anyone that cares about their health.  If you're looking to lose weight - or just stay healthy - all you need to do is give up cakes, candies, and sugared drinks like soda (and do physical activities other than fantasizing about the Portal girl.)

I'll take a chicken breast pita, or even a powerbar, over that other stuff any day of the week.

I think back, and I had a piece of dark chocolate cheesecake three years ago during the holidays because I never had dark chocolate cheese cake.

I used to be over 350 lbs in my early-20's.  Now I'm around 185, it's almost a decade later, and I a) don't eat any candy or fast food whatsoever, b) only drink water and unsugared drinks, c) never eat fried-[anything].

And I don't miss cake because I don't miss being obese.

However, I do miss my daily dose of fiber-glass surface resins.
