Who needs to be better?

Who needs to be the better soldier?  Your pocket solly or your roamer.  I mean overall.  Including aerials, aim, all the jazz that a soldier needs to be able to do.

I would say with my incredibly minimal expierience that the pocket should be better, higher chance the med lives, and as long as the roamer knows how and when to flank, and dom abasic 5 foot airshotfrom the crates in granary hell be good

Well, if a team has a horrible pocket that can't aim then the medic is going to die a lot and cause the whole team to fail. If a team has a horrible roaming soldier it's going to be more like a 5vs6, but they'll still have a chance of winning. In my opinion the pocket needs to be better, but a great roaming soldier is still really useful.

Pocket, I think. Medic is not only the most important player in a match, but also the most gunned for. He needs some heavy defense. Not to say you can go off the deep end with the roaming player. having a skilled medic protector and a decent opportunistic "finisher" is a pretty good idea.

You want a dominant pocket who will keep your medic alive.  6v6 is about keeping the medic alive.
