Why do I suck?!

 I have been playing the pyro for a very short time (10 hours) and I just can't seem to get good! I usually mained spy, so I'm very stealthy and good at ambushing. I can dominate as scout, so I am familiar with close range combat. And I can hit a sniper with a flare HALFWAY ACROSS THE *****ING MAP! Why do I constantly suck? I mean I am average. But I have yet to get that *click* were you just... start to own. I really need help and I hear that W+M1 is supposed to be the easiest thing in the world to do; and I still fail epicly at it. Any tips/videos would really help.

Keep practicing. 10 hours is no time at all; don't listen to the deluded W+Mouse1 proponents that say 10hours should make you pro- just keep playing and learn from mistakes

How long have you been playing the game total?

About 150-200 hours. With countless more wasted watching videos or reading forums where people worship the gods of the game(gman).

use mouse2. ALOT.

Best trick ever if you have an axtinguisher or not: Use the AIRBLAST! And use it well: when you see someone near a wall, blast him right into it! Then zig zag right and left and hit him with your flamer.

Use the shotgun and use it liberally. A good tactic would be to light an enemy on fire and use the shotty to soften them up. If the shotgun doesn't kill them then quite often the enemy will still die from the after burn.

BTW you should post a demo, then we could give you more specialized advice.
