Windows 7 Aero and Itunes Incompatible?

So I've been running the windows 7 RC for quite some time now and just recently I've been having an issue with itunes. Whenever I run iTunes my theme is turned off and it reverts to windows basic. This only started happening about a week ago. Did a virus scan, a spyware check, etc. Itunes is fully updated, etc. Also, when someone talks to me on facebook minichat it reverts back to the basic theme. Any ideas here?

When you close iTunes, does it go back to Aero?
I had no issues with iTunes under the RC.  I have yet to install iTunes under the final...

As a guess itunes is telling windows it's a full screen 3d app, which causes windows to disable Aero while itunes is running.
I don't have this problem with the final build of 7 so it may be driver issue. You could also try unistalling itunes and reinstalling it.

It does not do that on my system, but I have seen this sort of behaviour with other programs in both W7 and Vista.  The only app I run that I've noticed this happens in for me is Adobe Audition 1.5 (which is an old program anway.   As others have suggested, I would make sure that your Windows is fully patched and that your drivers are up todate.  Also just for argument sake, I would make sure you are running the most up todate version of iTunes.

Ok. So my drivers are updated, but just for the sake of making sure I uninstalled the latest driver and reinstalled it. I get a message when I run the install that says "These drivers were designed to work on windows 7 32-bit/windows vista 32-bit. Your operating system is not windows 7/vista.

hmmm, your drivers may be too updated then, and may not support the Windows 7 RC, only the RTM.

edit: or are you running the 64bit RC?

use wmp or dl the zune software which is imo better anyway.
