With the new updates on pyros and soldier...

What do we, as engineers should watch out for??? Actually my first question should be: Do we, as engineers have to watch out for anything new at all after this update?

I heard that pyro can counter rockets with the air compressor. Is that true? if thats the case, will it counter the level 3 sentry's rockets?

Nope.

I think so, the pryro can block the volley of rockets but no the bullets. So not too much to worry about if they are far enough away.

Also, you do have to worry about one thing: The pyro shotgun taunt instant kills buildings (along with people). So if you have a sapped sentry and there is a pyro starting his taunt, don't go near it.

I wouldn't say you have to worry about the taunt. In the time it takes to get the taunt off he could have easily just flamed it. If anything you should be less worried because you have more time to kill him.

I'm pretty sure I sent a sentries rockets back at it but they missed. o_O

Ive sent sentries rockets back at it. Pretty sure it's not a very useful trick though. Since the bullets still hit the pyro, and 4 of those rockets aren't quite enough to kill a sentry all by itself.

the four rockets are enough to damage it a good bit, plus they didnt hit you so you really cant say it doesnt help.

It's a suicide move that may or may not work. Unpractical and really not worth the effort, but awesome if you pull it off. Like using the Hadoken taunt in combat.
