Wreaks new avatar, pushing it to the limit!

Sup guys, as you may or may not know, i create my own avatars. i try to make each one unique and creative. i hadnt made one in a while because i loved my 16th so much, but I felt it was time for change. I know there are many artists on these forums, so I would just like some constructive criticism to improve this avatar as much as possible. I will post the big version, but what it looks like in mini version is what really matters. Thanks in advance!

The metal plates of the letters and background square texture can't be seen when shrunken so much.

Yea, the metal plates are pretty pointless when i look at it,but the tiles make the backround rougher, which does have an effect i believe. thanks!

Hmmm definitely like this one. Easy to read your name but the background is attracting enough to be noticed and add to it.

I made my avatar but this pretty much kicks the crap out of mine.

I like the new avatar.  Next time you make one can u screen-cap the process, I'm curious how someone goes about making that.
