Xbox 360 Update (News)

I just saw this.. not sure if many have seen it but it seems that Xbox 360 is going to be getting DLC (eventually).  Although at the end of the article it says the PS3 might not be getting it.

Gabe has got to learn that he is not punishing sony by not releasing content to the playstation 3 he is punishing consumers and i dont think that right he is just getting hated for it

Plenty other develeopers seem to have no problem producing cross platform games. Maybe Mr Newell should get in touch with Ubisoft/Bethesda/Epic/Rockstar/Codemasters etc and get some tips.

Still, if he wants to be known as the biggest (no pun intended) PC fanboi/Sony hater then fair enough, we'll struggle on. I'm still considering getting a 360 for quite a few games but after gathering a great bunch of friends here I doubt I'd want to stop playing TF2 on the PS3. Besides, switching to the PC seems like a better idea.

I own all 3 consoles (PS3, Xbox360, and Wii) plus a very nice gaming PC.  I usually buy games which I feel it's best for.  And I felt like PC was best suited for TF2.  I'm not getting a console/pc war started because I don't care what you think is better.  Everyone has their own opinion and Gabe just voiced his.  With his status in the Industry it does look bad, but it's his choice.  Really why not release every game for every platform so that it's the consumer/gamer's choice where and how they want to play them.  It just shows you, that you can't always get what you want.

Absolutely not, that's the last thing I want to do, they've all got their good and bad points but really, it's all about the games. True, Newell can do/say what he likes, it's just disappointing and when something is handed over to EA, who won't take a blind bit of notice what their customers say, it's even more disappointing. I'd love to see all games released on all systems too, although the Wii has certain types sewn up dues to their controls and without that, the Wii would be fairly pointless.

One thing that PS3 owners will get however, is Bioshock, which is great news indeed.

That's cool... BioShock is a really cool game.  I beat it on 360 and thought about getting it for PC now, but I have refrained so far and stuck to TF2 as my main PC game.  Bioshock pulled me away from other games when I got it
