Recently, after having a playthrough of my least used classes, i have discovered that i am a reasonably good demoman. I know there are some amazing demomen in this community, and i just wonder if they have any tips. Thanks!

If you're not using both of your primaries, you're doing it wrong. Always keep the regular pipe launcher loaded, it's great for quick skirmishes with a very few enemies. The sticky launcher is great for territory control. If you're just lobbing stickies straight at enemies and hoping for kills, IMHO you're not using your weapons properly. Just my two cents.

Heh, not much difference between a good demoman and a great demoman besides how well he can aim, juggle enemies with pipes, and protect his medics/engies. It's all about practice.

You could also watch TLR's frag video. He's a pretty good ('scuse me, great) demo who put a video up on vimeo: http://vimeo.com/1083806  (apologies to any of you other demos who might have videos up, I haven't seen 'em, sorry  )

Dont use stickies against scouts, If you do and that scout isn't an idiot, he will eat your soul. Thats all I can say as somebody who's eaten a lot of demoman souls lately.

People don't run straight, predict where they are going and shoot there, if you can't do that, shoot it to the side where you don't want them going.

It's really all about pipe accuracy, you get it with practice. Sticky placement you'll get by watching others play. You'll see octon always putting his stickies on ceilings and Col.Stauffenberg will always put his around corners.

You have to use both stickies and pipes on Scouts.  Some scouts jump too much and so stickies are more effective.  Some scouts stay on the ground and dodge and then you need to use pipes.  It may be obvious to some but, the scout is probably the hardest match-up for a demoman.

I'd say work on your aim with pipes and that will go a long way to making you a great demoman.

Stickies are helpful against scouts.. but lay a few down and switch to pipes... that way if a scout is dodging pipes he may jump on your stickies.

here`s one tip for ya: If youre surprised by a pyro inside a little room most demomen get in trouble. I get out of those situations with my life intact, and 80% of the time I kill the pyro.

What u do, is NOT to run away from the Pyro. He will expect that, and kill you easily if u do. Instead, u should run towards (and past him), while u place a couple stickies behind him. If he then turns around and follows u, he`s dead. If he runs away from u, he`ll survive. But so will u. (80% of them will follow u )

I love Pyros!

No problem. Hmm, dunno about anymore really great demo videos I've seen, you could troll vimeo and youtube looking for TF2 Demo Frag vids, but I think TLR's is the best I've seen. You could always ask Octon to make one, or spectate him sometime
