airblast and stickies

so i was thinking... the when the pyro airblasts rockets, they turn into his rockets, and hurt everyone from the other team, same thing for flares, and bouncies.  Yet with the stickies they stay to being only the demoman's, so only he can get hurt, along with the rest of your team.  Why not have the stickies turn to a "neutral" team, so they just hurt everyone, then after say, 3 seconds of being airblasted, they go abck to the original colour.
anyone else think this would be a good thing to have?

Hmm... I see where you're coming from but I don't exactly agree...

I think stickies don't change colors because at that point they are not exactly "projectiles". Stickies are weapons in the same way that a sentry is a weapon. They are both very powerful and deny access to an area, but have no mobility. When you airblast a heavy he doesn't change colors. (That would be fun as hell though...)

I like the idea of adding more mayhem, but I agree that this idea probably wouldn't work very well.  If they change back, then the demo can just wait for a bit.  If they stay then you really nerf one of the best things the poor cyclops has.

but they already kill him if he is in the way.  the reason i thought of this was because i was sitting outside the tunnel one area 2 dbowl, the one with the one-way gate on it, and there was this demo with 8 stickies in the doorway just staring at me, with a pyro and scout sitting next to him.  one of the stickies was a crit, so i got bawlsy and ran up to the door and airblasted the stickies right at the demo, who then blew them up and gave me a kill.  now, if the stickies changed to a "neutral" team for even 2 seconds, all 3 of those guys woulda bee killed.  (yes i do agree it would suck if that happened to you, but i think it would be a good addition)

Actually, i see where this is coming from, a crit rocket can kill more people than just the soldier (i've seen some really sweet air rocket kills on the medic instead of his patient solider), so why can't stickies. It would add a bit more flavor (not to say this game isn't a curry of many spices ). The only reason they probally don't do that would be becuz stickies are generally harder to avoid than rockets, and usually they come in more than 1 =P. But your neutral idea counters that, so i don't see any problem with that. It would be cool if they turned colorless/grey to show neutral.

I disagree with the for the same reason I would disagree with friendly fire: I don't want to be killed because some idiot on my team can't handle their weapon properly. With a rocket, there is no guaranteed explosion, with stickies, they only explode if the demoman right clicks, I shouldn't be killed because my demoman had bad reactions, it was his mistake, not mine.
