Control Points
Waste (PL) has been extensively reworked and customized for 5-CP push play. Waste places an emphasis on occupying the upper levels first in order to maintain control over the various control points.

Please provide feedback, whether it be bug reports or even small requests. This beta is a release candidate.

Objective:
To win each team must own all five Control Points.

Other Notes:
Control Points cannot be captured while they are locked.


Beta 2 Release Notes:
-Removed setup gate logic
-Several bug fixes

Beta 1 Release Notes:
-Public release


INSTALLATION:
Unpack the contents of the .rar into your tf directory. Keeping the folder system intact will allow you to see the thumbnail in the Map List.

Pretty much, but I've put in a lot of work to make this work well for CP.

It's been tested before and players either love CP and hate PL, or the other way around. I like that.

nah, i've played this and the pl version of the map, and they both work quite well- the pl one is novel, and this is pretty solid for competitive play.  If i had a map this adaptable, I would release tons of different versions too

...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remove the setup time. COMMONNNNNNN. This map will be a million times better if the setup is gone.

Also, your window reflections on mid are kinda fucked up...

I definitely agree with chuckles. If the setup time was removed it would make the map flow much more smoothly. As it is you essentially wait an extra 30 seconds for no reason. Beyond that, I was very impressed. I like the textures and buildings, think there's ample flanking routes and elevated areas to make the fighting at all the capture points unique each time through. I also think the forward spawns are in great locations.

Yeah, I like this map far more as a cp map. It's actually quite balanced, and each point has the height advantages that makes good competitive maps

I think there should be startup time, just make it shorter. Like, just enough time to hold off Scouts and Sollies/Demos for a few secs, but otherwise classes like Sniper, HWG, etc would still be catching up (just my opinion)

And yes, the windows are fucked.

Overall, I love this map. Have played it in a pug, and it was a total blast

After you take off the setup, if you want to keep it in beta for a bit longer, post the map on gotfrag.com and see what the more comp players think of it as well - I think the map would be very fun for comp play and some of those guys can give you some great advice as far as that goes.
