If you're too far away from your wireless point, you might have issues. Try moving closer, if that's possible. Otherwise, buy 50 feet of network cable and you'll be all set. I can only attribute this to a poor connection. If wiring and moving your computer doesn't help, you might need to open up ports 27010-27050 on your router. Most servers use something in that range.

This probably has nothing to do with your video card, if you meet the box requirements, you'll be fine. Follow these instructions to post a DxDiag, and we'll be a little more informed about your system.

Sorry for the delay.
You look up to spec here, so it's most likely a network problem. You can try:

-Disabling antivirus
-Disabling Windows Firewall
-Building a DIY antenna (silly, but they work)
-Moving closer
-Resetting your router

Does this happen in other games or just TF2? Do you have any other network problems?

If none of the above works, you need to run cable. MUCH better.

Check your wireless zero config or w/e it is. it searches for a new network every minute, causing lag, turn it off, it should help.
