Heres an early look at my newest map. I wanted a map for my clan to use for a gamemode I came up with. I will probably release 2 versions one with the center area empty and one with clutter for cover.  I will probably have to rework the dome fingers for some reason I got alot of invalid brush errors on them.

yea deathmatch, but thats just the title. the game mode I was refering to is more of a play style nothing to do with the map.

Ok heres some new pics started working on the spawn buildings. Spawn at top has 2 exits one on either side. Spawn at bottom has one exit and the door is grated. Central door at top leads to sniper deck. I plan on adding stairs from the bottom section to the top. I may or maynot make the area outside the dome playable. Any suggestions on this?

Couple new pics.

I added the stairwells to either side
I finished cutting the windows out
added working spawn doors on lower level
changed the skybox and light environment to goldrush theme
added temporary lighting for testing purposes.







To Do List.
Finish adding spawn doors and setup spawns
Add player clipping to the outside of the dome.
add some sniper guards and basic map layout stuff
add sudden death to end of map round.

hey, ran around on alpha 2.

hah, it's very... pit of sarlacc from Star Wars.

I guess I'm a little confused as to what the death_match game mode is. Is it just arena with fewer players?

Overall I like the layout. Why two spawn rooms? Perhaps the walkway that goes around the whole thing could have a slight overhang? So that players on the bottom could be slightly more protected?

Death match is just one team versus the other with no goal but to kill people on the opposing team. Ill look into maybe adding an overhang.
