*gasp* New class suggestion! Run for your lives!

Yup. I have an idea for a 10th class for TF2. After lurking around here for a bit, I was struck with a sourch of genius and proceeded to create this class. So here it is.

Meet The: Electritian
Health: 150

Speed: roughly the same as a Medic

Role: Defense

Nationality: British

The Electritian was a scientist who, after recieving a few to many volts of electricity, kinda went off the deep end of the sanity pool and started making secret weapons that would make James Bond drool with envy. When RED (or BLU, depending on what team he's playing on) found out about him, they quickly hired him to assist the ragtag bunch of misfits we know and love.

Primary Weapon: Tesla Gun
The Tesla Gun fires an arc of electricity at a single target, doing moderate damage the longer it's hitting the target (roughly 75 for a total clip). It also slows the foe down abit. When it lands a critical hit though, the target is frozen in place as several thousand watts of electricity courses through him, making his skeleton appear in a very cartoony way. However, the Tesla Gun can only land critical hits the instant it hits the target, not in mid attack. The Tesla Gun Can be used to shock water to hurt anyone in it, inculding the Electritian if you arn't careful.
Ammo: 50 watts per Battery, 5 watts used per second/250 watts total ammo count

Secondary Weapon: Shotgun
It's the basic shotgun. Nothing needs to be said.

Melee Weapon: Tazer
while only doing 15 points of damage per hit, it can paralyze the victim for about 3-5 seconds. However, the paralyzing effect dosn't stack, and the tazer needs to charge for about 10 seconds after each use.

Unlockable Weapons

Tesla Arc
The Tesla Arc dosn't do as much damage as the Tesla Gun (about 50 per clip), and it dons't slow down enemies unless it's a critical hit, and to top it all off, it has a shorter range. But It can actually branch out to hit 3 enemies at once, making it more use for crowd control, as the Tesla Gun could only hit one enemy at a time. The Tesla Arc holds the same amount of ammo as the Tesla Gun, but it replaces it as the primary weapon.

Power Cable
The Power Cable is basically a trip wire. Anyone (Even your team mates) who walks into it will be stunned for 5 seconds. Afterwards, it disinergrates. Be sure to warn your team where you set one up. You can hold up to 8 power cables.

Wire Cutter
While it dosn't do much damage (a measly 10 damage), it has a fast rate of attack, and can cut power cables without tripping them.

Other Info
Unlike the Scout's Sandman, none of the Electritian's weapons can stun Ubers.


So there you go. A (hopefully) uniqe class that I made. I know it's highly unlikly that Valve will inculde a 10th class in the game, but it's still fun to make soem up. Lemme know what you think.

Valid point. I should probbably put down that the Electritian can't stun Ubers.
I mostly intended that the Electritian isn't a guns-a-blazing class, but someone who could set up enimies for his team to finish off.

People don't dislike the sandman because it used to stun ubers, they dislike that it stuns at all.

As for the next part, what is the point? If you were just a "guns-a-blazing" class, you could simply kill the enemy, rather than setting team mates up. That way you can be viable on your own, rather than needing your team mates to babysit you for you to even be useful. It is extra work for the other players without any benefit over just having another fighting class.

This just sounds like a sandman scout that doesn't have a scattergun. Except he has a shotgun. So I guess it is a slow sandman scout with more hp.

Regardless.. I don't see why you would want to play this class. He doesn't seem to do anything at all useful or unique.
