help with a laptop

so i want to get a new laptop so i can play both on the ps3 and pc but windows 98 is way too laggy for tf2 so i was wonderin if i bought this laptop will it be able to play tf2 with good good flow and not much lag

It probably will lag. That Laptop doesn't appear to have a standard graphics card. Integrated graphics are way on the low end.

My suggestion would be to go out and BUILD a cheap desktop computer. It's not nearly as hard as it sounds. Unless you need a laptop in particular, you'd be doing yourself a huge favor by getting a new desktop. I'm sure building will be cheaper than that laptop, because it doesn't take all that much to run TF2 nicely.

If you want to do that, and need help selecting parts, I'd be willing to help you out.

If you want a laptop, dell make cheaper ones which have dedicated graphics card that can play tf2, I told my friend to get one before, cant remember which though.

mine has 1.80 GHz, and it gets stuck when loading a new map.

although it does seem to work just fine

ok i need a laptop cause i travel a bit so if anyone can link me to a good one cause i thought 800 quid would be a bit tad much so any help will be thanked for

This Laptop should do you just fine. It's also pretty affordable. Then again, I have no experience with the 7000 series, so you should ask around a bit to hear what others have to say.

EDIT: It also wouldn't hurt to boost the memory on that one, it's relatively affordable.

Fatality is right though, if you have that much to spend, go with the Asus he posted. It's a much nicer machine. May I also recommend a real mouse? Touch pads are no good for FPS.

touch pad(trackapd) are not for gaming? R u frekin kidding me, I play with a trackpad all teh time, and I still own dude, its not that hard, my response time let me beat peopel even with a trackpad, but thats only on sniping though, I'm still a good soldier and demo.
