can anyone point me to a quality tutorial for setting up hlstatsx on windows?

If your using Hlstats Premium.

Add the log address that you recieved in your email to your server cfg, make sure that logging is enabled (delete anythin that says "log 0" or " log off" and restart your server.

Install the Sourcemod plugin

http://www.hlstatsx.com/downloads/sourcemod_plugin_V2.7.zip

Then in your Hlstats control panel set up your settings and restart Hlstats

if you are using the version you host yourself, then I think you are using hlstats, and not hlstatsx.

There is a free version of HLstatsX still out there.
I know my buddy Lart ran a small forums dedicated to a free version of HLstatsX for TF2. While I'm not sure if he's still working on the project... I know his work is still out there and probably sported by the community.

i found hlstatsx community edition, and will b going with that solution. Just have to set up web server... maybe later today if i get a chance...

thank you all for your suggestions... they helped with the decision making process immensely. If i run into trouble, it is likely i will post back here with questions... when i get it up and running i will post here a linmk to server so you can check out what u helped with if u like

I ended up finding the community edition too last night. Its fucked how google doesnt really help you find it when you type hlstatsx.

Anyway, its like a zillion times harder to setup than psychostats. The only advantage is that it does log streaming instead of logs via ftp.
I ran into a problem with my install of hlstatsx actually, I cant login to the admin page. Ill troubleshoot tonight.

if u are using WAMP on a windows box, the instructions forget to tell u to click go during import of database file. If you redo that step it will correct it (if u have the same issue i had last night... that is)
