You have to navigate to your steam folder in program files, then go to [your account name], tf2, tf, cfg, and then open the on called spy.cfg with wordpad.

Then you paste the config's in there, easy as pie.

What? You mean W+Mouse1?

You should just try to learn yourself, or you'll be stuck in no-learn-land.

Exactly. Whats the point of playing if you just script the game to play for you? You won't be doing very good, and you aren't actually playing if you script the game to do everything for you. Sap while walking? Is it really that hard to click your mouse button?

And no, no one can make the spy.cfg for you. Its a file on your computer so unless one of us has access to your computer we can't do it. No one should have to make one either, if you went to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\*yoursteamid*\team fortress 2\tf\cfg  there should already be one there. All you do is open it in notepad. If not, open notepad, save as spy.cfg and make sure right below that you set the file type to all files.

I also find it hilarious that he is asking us to do that for him, he doesn't want to do anything himself.

no listen, i did everything you said before i posted this thread
i put all the scripts i wanted into spy.cfg
but when i start up the game, the scripts are never enabled!
i have to manually punch them into the console...
i want them to be automatic!!
i even do exec spy.cfg  but that doesn't work too! o.o

Hopefully obvious, but spy.cfg won't be active until you select spy.

If spy.cfg isn't executing, then you've editted the wrong file.

In scripts, do:

echo Hello

And when you look in console (after the script is run), it will say Hello. In spy.cfg, at the top say:

echo *Begin Spy.cfg*

And at the end:

echo *End Spy.cfg*

So now when you run or exec it, you should see those in console. That's how you'll know it ran.

But I would highly recommend not using scripts, ever. I don't and I'd go out on a limb and say I'm doing good as spy.

There aren't really too many useful Spy Scripts.  DO NOT USE THE BACKSTAB AND DISGUISE.  If you cloak after you're stab, you'll just end up having a trail of smoke.  If you want to last disguise, you're better off just pushing "B"

I guess using the F_ keys for disguising if fine, and there are a few scripts that are ok.  But most are useless, because you can do the same thing easily and more precisely without them.  I didn't even know there was a walk while sapping script, that's just silly.

Don't have the time to fix it, but you have conflicting scripts. Near the top you bind 1, 2, etc... to certain commands, then do the same near the bottom, overwriting the previous ones.

You don't need to put that in autoexec, TF2 will automatically execute the class script when the join the class (joining spy does exec spy, soldier does exec soldier, etc...)

Create a server, join spy, and look in console. If it says those things I showed you, the script was run. Whether it works or not, see my first statement.
