i say this as a 100 hour medic: F**** the scout update

As a medic whose M.O. is to die when fully charged, after the scout update, I keep getting double teamed by scouts.  I die a lot more than I used to.

Give the game three weeks to get back to normal.  The scout population is still way up.

I almost forgot about those...

The Scout Rush has done EXACTLY as I expected.  As with the Medic update, just because more players choose to play the class, doesn't mean they are good at it.  And for me, that is adamantly apparent because I have been able to get kills on SO MANY SCOUTS as of late.

Now, someone who plays Scout and is skilled at it, they will still utterly destroy me; it's the skill they possess for why I'll usually end up dead.  But these other Scouts, they JUST got into the class, and so their ineffectiveness to utilize the Scout's abilities like a professional Scout allow me to get more kills on them.

Scout is, IMO, the most powerful class in the game, when all skill is equal.  And the reason why is because he has powerful attacks AND speed AND agility (he even accounts for 2 people when capping).  These aspects afford him much power.  But like slapping a new driver into a Porsche and asking them to run a pro circuit in record time, you just aren't going to see the potential of the Scout from players using it just to get these unlocks.

As a 666 hour medic, (yes just got 666!) I've always said nerf the fucking scouts as is. Now with these new toys I need dodge god damn baseballs too, even when I artfully dodge them I get 2 shotted even quicker now. >:[

Nerf scout. And valve won't do another demo nerf. Unless steam forum goers hold a gun to their heads.
