mass effect 2 pro spoilers thread. with SPOILERS.

because i'm tired of highlighting my text. 

on a more personal note, i didn't pursue any romantic relationships on my "main" (paragon Infiltrator.) thinking that i'm gonna hang on to Ash for ME3. 

the end mission is ridiculously easy to beat with everyone alive.  the game basically holds your hand the entire way and says "HEY DO THIS CRAP SO THAT PEOPLE DON'T DIE ON THE SUICIDE MISSION."  the three ship upgrades are obvious ones, the tech expert is relatively easy (though i could see someone sending either Garrus or Mordin for their experience in both spec ops and tech), the leaders..maybe not so much.  my instinct would tell me that Mordin, or maybe even Grunt might do effectively, and that Miranda wouldn't be a good choice, especially if you left Jack in her squad. 

but all in all, if you're going to get multiple people killed on this mission, you almost have to do it intentionally.  and for shepard to die?...i couldn't figure out how you're gonna kill shepard, (other than standing out in the open in front of the Reaper's blast, but that doesn't count).  so i read up and in order for shepard to die you have to have NO LOYAL SQUADMATES.  so basically at the end they just say "fuck you" and let you drop?   i mean, you really have to go out of your way to kill everyone. 

haven't downloaded the Zaeed thing, don't know much about him.

zaeed's a badass, his character has kinda meh abilities, but his story mission reveals some interesting stuff.

I really liked the final mission and how they made it feel like this is a suicide mission and all the people you have been gathering together do their own part in successfully completing it.

I Virmire'd her. It was real good. I rather put up with blandness of Kaidan rather than her. Eurgh.

I read that if you create a fresh ME2 character without a ME1 save, the history will be pretty lame like Wrex and the Council are dead and I don't recall which squadmate survived but that basically sucks. Poor Wrex The Council I don't care so much for seeing how they doubt everything I say; How that is possible while still being the best Spectre candidate baffles me.

I lost Legion for whatever reason trying to close the door after I sent him through the ventilation thing. Miranda died randomly too at some point....There was just an awkward shot of her lying on the ground surrounded by some baddies towards the end, no other mention of it. Not exactly emotional stuff there....

I might play though the end of ME1 and all of 2 as my female renegade to let the council die. Worst decision I made all game.

I had to reload the mission, the first time because thane, a character I spent the entire game learning and caring about, gets killed by a desk and isnt mentioned again, and the second time because the ultimate badass Zaeed gets killed by a small piece of sheet metal, but mordin just gets back up after the same metal the second time, they handled the deaths really really poorly, But I banged Miranda but kept my options open to ashley to see if I can make a Love triangle next game

I put Grunt in charge of the second fire team, and when he died I felt like I had betrayed the entire Krogan race.  Shit.
