Actual Solutions -
Look around your security program settings, if you can find TF2 anywhere, make sure that it's allowed complete access to anything your antivirus/firewall deals with.
Additional things that security programs need to allow are HL2.exe and something along the lines of ingameui.
Check to make sure you don't accidently have something typed into your filters on TF2; it can prevent any games from popping up.
If your internet connection is routed through another computer that you own, then check it's security program settings as well.
Don't forget about windows firewall.
Try waiting, sometimes it takes a little bit for servers to start showing up.
Hopefully one of these things works for you!
