pistol fire script?

anyone have a script setup (without the wait command) that makes mouse 1 fire the scattergun...but then pressing mouse3 switches to the pistol and fires that?

Without releasing Mouse 1, switch to the pistol and then back. Script not needed.

alias "+pistola" "slot2; +attack"
alias "-pistola" "-attack; lastinv"
bind "mouse3" "+pistola"

goes in scout.cfg. Also useful for, say, soldier to quickly switch to shotgun, just place in corresponding cfg file.

eh well it works well with other classes...but the pistol fires slower. it like tries to reload halfway then fires

just habit i had before the wait command disabling option. had a script that when pressing mouse 3 it fired. ill just deal with it

That's got to do with updates. Pistol fire speed was capped, and enabling auto reload makes automatic weapons try to reload mid clip, and reload can be canceled halfway through the animation. Kind of dumb. You can try disabling auto reload.
