I was on a server just now, 6/3/2008 at 12:49pm eastern time, when someone mentioned a hacker going around crashing servers. As soon as that chat message showed I had the red lettered message on the top right of my screen saying 'connection problem, disconnect in 25 seconds' which counted down to zero and i then lost connection.
I copied the last part of what happened from the console. Here it is...
"Type in chat !radio to bring up the radio menu
|GW|Cormier killed IdesOfMarch with flamethrower.
Nahlik killed jayadam with tf_projectile_pipe_remote.
Troller{ZcF} : hey did you hear about that guy going around crashing servers?
Thor killed neotangerine with flamethrower.
Nahlik suicided.
gli killed flamingsaber with flamethrower.
Server connection timed out."
I'm not saying it was this Troller ZcF guy, but what he said came out of nowhere then I got booted 30 secs after.
Just thought I'd make mention of this.
