sniper idea class thing :D

i put this is the sniper forum place but this seems a better place mmmkay? (had to put a southpark reference in atleast one of my posts) insta 100% charge but only headshots count? or mabye body shots do like 20 damage or something? i think it seems quite fair a really good player would have to pull of all headshots to get high points and no charging up to kill that heavy the downsides? mabye you cant move but i think to no damage to body shots is big enough sooooo what do you think? be sure to make err improvments or whatever and please give me constructive critism and i had other ideas but look in my thread in sniper forum for them mmmmkay? for example a lazer which has larger range no damage dropoff and even a wider shot so easyer to get headshot but you must wait like 5 seconds before firing?

For new sniper gun: I would like a low damage sniping gun that can shoot 3 time in a row
    For hand gun: a bit more damage, like 10% crit rate

I don't see the 100% charge headshots only happening, the whole reason for the charge is to stop snipers from killing anyone in a second with good aim. Even though I would love to see it.

Your suggestion would make better snipers terribly overpowered. eg. snuts and durban always pull off headshots and would get kills 24/7.

Whereas not so good snipers who aim for body shots will find it hard.

I suppose it separates the men from the boys!

my idea is the same (i actually thought of it before i read this thread) except that it takes the same amount of time to charge but you could move a lot faster
thoughts?

Here's something that:
Let's you play in a very different way without changing what your class is meant to be;
let's Snipers play a part in maps before unsuited to them;
doesn't negatively affect the balance of TF2:

Assassin's Rifle-
Larger and less zoomed scope,
no aiming dot,
1 second charging time,
max charge does 150 damage,
min charge does about 50 damage,
doesn't unscope between shots,
1.5 shots per second if you don't charge, (uncharged = 3 shots X 50 damage in 2 seconds, charged = 3 shots X 150 damage in 5 seconds, put them together (averaged damage/second with constant fire except for charging) and uncharged=75/sec, charged=90/sec)

Basically it's better for close-quarters maps; but it takes additional skill to use because you have no way of getting a center-point/crosshair while using it.  And 90 damage a second is pretty weak compared to the normal rifle; but is ideal for taking down fast classes without being bogged down by having something slower that outputs un-needed damage with regards to those lesser-healthed classes.

Ingame Description:

Faster Charge and Shooting Speed
-50% or more damage
No aiming dot

good but i think (i'm not sure as i don't have tf2 for pc) it would make it too easy for good snipers. It's a good bet that valve will do something like this though, nice!
